The first Housewife beginners clinic was a success! It was so great to meet a bunch of lovely ladies who wanted to learn to skate! We met up at the 91st Street Skatepark in Rockaway Beach. The weather predicted rain but we got lucky. To be honest, I got so much feedback on instagram and Meetups before the event that I got nervous 100 people would show up and I’d have to mosh pit through the skatepark.

It was the perfect amount of ladies that I felt like I could work one on one with everyone if they wanted pointers. I setup complete boards for people to borrow and try out different styles of boards. People were practicing ollies, fakie pivots, dropping in, tick tacks, and also just simply learning to push! It was a diverse group of ages ranging from 15-32.

I am definitely planning on having another one soon! Stay tuned.
