We had a great time at Hester Street Fair during their Girl Power themed day! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, bought some Housewife gear, chatted, and grabbed some stickers! It was so great to see everyone of all ages, races, genders, non-skater/skater, fashionistas, etc interact with the brand! It proved that Housewife is for everyone!! “Hester Street Fair’s Girl Power Fair is back for its 5th edition on Sept.19th with the best and the boldest womxn in New York!
We are delighted to bring you another season of the fair this summer, offering a space to celebrate and be together in ease and creativity despite all that 2020 has thrown at us so far. This year’s events have been adapted to fit NYC’s safety guidelines: Vendors will be 6 ft. apart, our capacity for vendors and visitors has lowered, and we will have multiple hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the park. Masks are mandatory, all vendors are 6' or more apart, we have sanitizer everywhere, free face masks and gloves, a handwashing station, and we do contactless temperature checks for everyone who enters the fair including the entire Hester Street Fair staff.
Our beloved Girl Power event is a special intersectional female fair and we are proud to showcase a line up of owned and operated businesses, vendors, artists, and performers—a packed day of badass ladies! The pivoting axel system that holds to wheels onto the deck.They come in various sizes and styles, including these iconic ones featuring a hole in the center by Krux. You can ride them super loose for surfy turns, or super tight for quick spinning tech tricks. These badboys are what you grind with so you might wanna put some wax on ‘em.
Wheels & Bearings
Wheels come in many shapes, sizes, softness, and colors. Depending on your goals for your board setup: wether you wanna rise super fast and smooth, powerslide down the street, or have a lightweight setup for faster flipping of tricks, finding the right wheel is crucial. Bearings come in various ABEC amounts, typically ABEC 7 or 9. You won’t feel much of a difference between brands as long as you keep them well maintained and away from water puddles.
