February Events Galore!
This year is off to a great start! Housewife participated in a couple really cool events in February!
GRLSWIRL + Substance Skatepark
Skate Night NYC
The second was Skate Night NYC at Max Fish Bar in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Typically Skate Nights are dominated by guys but it was really nice to add some feminine energy to the mix. We watch a Natural Koncepts Skateboards Skate Video Premiere, played some dice and coin games, and watched a band play their first show live!
Women That Rock Galentine’s Day
The first one was the Women That Rock Galentine’s Day Event at Baby’s Alright in Brooklyn. There were a bunch of super talented female vendors and musicians. I was so honored to be apart of it!
Quell + NYSP at 2nd Nature
The third one was the Quell Skateboarding + New York Skate Project event at 2nd Nature skatepark in Peekskill, New York! This was a super rad day that included a drive up the Hudson to an indoor skatepark that I’ve never been to! They had a bowl, a mini ramp, a street style area, and more. After a raffle for Nike Sb shoes, we watched a video about queer skateboarding. Check it out on Quell Skateboarding’s blog!
